Joseph Alfred Pinto: P.C. native, retired plumber

Joseph Alfred Pinto, 83, of Rye, died Sept. 18, 2022.
He was born Oct. 9, 1938 in Port Chester to Michael and Mildred Lupo Pinto who predeceased him.
He loved football and Rye High School where he played and was a star athlete wearing #61 which Rye High School retired in his honor.
He loved sports and old musical trivia, especially Patsy Cline and The Platters.
Mr. Pinto was a retired plumber and the beloved husband of the late Eileen Pinto, devoted father of Dawn Plantz (Tom) of Holbrook, N.Y., Joseph J. Pinto (Sheree) of New Windsor, N.Y., Stacy Celli (John) of Newtown, Conn. and Daniel Pinto of Port Chester.
He is also survived by eight grandchildren: Ryan Plantz (Maggie), Justin Plantz, Johnny Celli, Devon Pinto, Eileen Celli, Samantha Celli, Paige Pinto and Katie Celli; one great-grandchild, Delaney Plantz, and his sister Connie Petrillo of Naples, Fla.
Mr. Pinto cherished the time spent with family and friends; he was a wonderful father and companion.
