2023-2024 VILLAGE OF PORT CHESTER TAX

SECOND HALF REMINDER

This is a courtesy reminder to all taxpayers whose property is located in the Village of Port Chester that the second half of the village tax is due by December 31, 2023. Payments must be  POSTMARKED BY THE U S POST OFFICE NO LATER THAN December 31, 2023. If payment is not received by that date, a mandatory, non-waivable penalty of 2% will be added for the month of January and will increase monthly thereafter. Due to the fact that December 31^st falls

on a Sunday and the New Year is observed on Monday. Payments can be deposited in the special lockbox in front of the building or delivered to the office on Tuesday January 2, 2024

For your convenience, there are three ways for you to make payments.

1 You may mail your check in the envelope provided.  Be sure to include the second stub of the bill.  If you would like a receipt, mark the appropriate box.  Payments must be postmarked by the US Post office no later than December 31, 2023 to avoid the penalty.

Due to the Holiday, payments will be accepted without penalty by Jan. 3, 2024

2 You may also drop your payment in the special locked box in front of the building at 222 Grace Church Street, Port Chester. Include the top of the bill with your payment and we will send you a receipt. You do not need a stamp.

3 You may pay on line.  You may pay by a credit card. You may also pay by electronic transfer (ACH) echeck.  Check the back of the bill for instructions.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed proposals will be received by the Village of Port Chester until January 4, 2024  at 3:00 p.m. local time at the Office of the Village Clerk, 222 Grace Church Street, Port Chester, New York 10573, at which time and place sealed proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud for “School Crossing Guard Program.”

No proposals will be received or considered after the date/time stated above.

The Request for Proposals  may be procured at the Office of the Village Clerk, 222 Grace Church Street, Port Chester, New York beginning on December 15, 2023 and available on the Village’s web-page www.portchesterny.gov/Bids.aspx or in person at the office during regular business hours.

All proposals must be submitted by electronic format (ex.: CD or USB flash drive: E-mail is not an acceptable format or method of transference) AND a single, original hard copy both contained in a sealed envelope clearly marked:

Proposals that do not comply with the above submission requirements will not be considered.

The Board of Trustees of the Village of Port Chester reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals, waive any informalities at its discretion, and to make such award as it deems is in the best interest of the Village of Port Chester even if such award is to other than the lowest proposer.
