FOR FEE ACCOUNTING SERVICES


The Port Chester Housing Authority (PCHA) is requesting proposals for a Fee Accountant to provide accounting services for our federally subsidized housing projects (Low-Rent Public Housing - 340 units) for a period of two years.


Awards will be made to the responsible firm whose proposal is most advantageous to the program, with price and other factors considered.


Interested firms can contact the Port Chester Housing Authority, 2 Weber Drive, Port Chester, NY 10573, (914) 937-5550, for a copy of duties and selection criteria. Please include the retainer fee you are requesting and submit your proposal by 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, January 23, 2024.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed bids will be received by the Village of Port Chester until Thursday, January 25th, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. local time at the Office of the Village Clerk, 222 Grace Church Street, Port Chester, New York 10573, at which time and place said sealed bids will be publicly opened and read out aloud for


“Columbus Park Splash Pad Upgrades”


No bids will be received or considered after the date/time stated above.


This work consists of removing and replacing solenoid valves and controller, programming controller, removing and replacing associated wiring, removing and replacing other splash park components.


A Pre-Bid conference will not be held. Bidding contractors are strongly encouraged to visit the project site before submitting bids.


Plans, Specifications and Contract Documents may be procured at the Office of the Village Clerk, 222 Grace Church Street, Port Chester, New York beginning on December 26th, 2023 and available on the Village’s web-page https://www.portchesterny.gov/Bids.aspx or in-person at the office during regular business hours.


A bid bond, certified check, or bank check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid must accompany the bid. Bids may not be withdrawn within forty-five (45) days after the closing date/time for receipt of all bids.


All requests for clarifications must be submitted no later than January 22nd, 2024 at 5:00 p.m.


All proposals must be submitted by hard copy AND by electronic format (ex: CD or USB flash drive: E-mail is not an acceptable format or method of transference) in a sealed envelope clearly marked:

The successful bidder will be required to timely provide performance and labor and material bonds in an amount equal to the bid award and to proceed to contract upon notice of the bid award.


The Board of Trustees of the Village of Port Chester reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, waive any informalities at its discretion, and to make such bid award that it deems is in the best interest of the Village of Port Chester even if such award is to other than the lowest bidder.

BID NOTICE


The Town of Rye, New York, hereby gives notice that sealed bids will be received in the office of the Town Clerk for:


Rye Town Park ADA-Accessible, Beach-Access Toilets


Contract Documents:  The Contract Documents will be available electronically on or after Thursday, January 4, 2024, by contacting Arconics Architecture, PC at (914) 937-5596 Ext. 104. Prospective bidders must provide a specific company contact name, email and phone number.


TIME: Sealed bids will be received by the Town of Rye at 222 Grace Church Street, Port Chester, NY 10573 in the Town Clerk’s office until 11:00 AM local time, on Friday, February 9. 2024.  Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at that time in the Supervisor’s Office.


BIDS: All bids shall be addressed to the attention of the Town Clerk, Town of Rye, 222 Grace Church Street, Port Chester, NY 10573, and shall be enclosed, with the name and address of the Bidder and name of the project shown on the outside of the sealed envelope.  On Thursday, January 11, 2024, there will be a pre-bid inspection of the project site. Meeting will convene at 11:00 AM at the North Tower Administration Building (in Rye Town Park), 95 Dearborn Avenue, Rye, NY.

BID SECURITY: A certified check or satisfactory bid bond payable to the Town of Rye, in the amount of ten  percent (10%) of the bid, shall accompany each bid as a guaranty, that if the bid is accepted, the Bidder will execute and file the contract and the certificate of insurance, as required by the contract.  Should the Bidder fail in meeting this provision, then the amount of the certified check or bid bond will be forfeited to the Town as liquidated damages.


BID WITHDRAWAL: No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days after the scheduled opening of the bids without the consent of the Town of Rye. Also, no bid can be resubmitted by a bidder that has successfully withdrawn a bid prior to the bid opening.


IRREGULAR BIDS: Bids may be rejected if they show any omissions, alterations of form, additions not called for, conditional bids or irregularities of any kind.


QUALIFICATIONS OF BIDDERS: All bidders must be regularly engaged in the business of the item that he bids upon. Each bidder must have adequate personnel, equipment, materials, plant capacity and/or delivery capacity to properly execute the item that he bids. The Contractors shall supply electrical labor properly licensed to work in Westchester County and the City of Rye for all on-site work.


Any bidder may be required, as deemed necessary by the Architect, to furnish additional data regarding qualification of the bidder to successfully and responsibly perform the item or items upon which he has bid. Such additional data may include, but not be limited to, previous references for similar work performed, equipment available for performance of work and statements showing financial ability to successfully and responsibly perform the item or items bid.

2023-2024 VILLAGE OF PORT CHESTER TAX

SECOND HALF REMINDER


This is a courtesy reminder to all taxpayers whose property is located in the Village of Port Chester that the second half of the village tax is due by December 31, 2023. Payments must be POSTMARKED BY THE U S POST OFFICE NO LATER THAN December 31, 2023. If payment is not received by that date, a mandatory, non-waivable penalty of 2% will be added for the month of January and will increase monthly thereafter. Due to the fact that December 31st falls

on a Sunday and the New Year is observed on Monday. Payments can be deposited in the special lockbox in front of the building or delivered to the office on Tuesday January 2, 2024


For your convenience, there are three ways for you to make payments.

1 You may mail your check in the envelope provided. Be sure to include the second stub of the bill. If you would like a receipt, mark the appropriate box. Payments must be postmarked by the US Post office no later than December 31, 2023 to avoid the penalty.

Due to the Holiday, payments will be accepted without penalty by Jan. 3, 2024


2 You may also drop your payment in the special locked box in front of the building at 222 Grace Church Street, Port Chester. Include the top of the bill with your payment and we will send you a receipt. You do not need a stamp.


3 You may pay on line. You may pay by a credit card. You may also pay by electronic transfer (ACH) echeck. Check the back of the bill for instructions.
