Westchester Children’s Museum100 Playland Pkwy, Rye, is presenting A World of Possibilities organized by The Arc Westchester. Summer Camps & Programs

Registration is open for Hilltop Hanover Farm’s Summer Programming for Children. The farm at 1271 Hanover St., Yorktown Heights offers children the chance to have fun and learn about gardening, sustainable and organic planting practices, taste their harvest and more at the variety of summer programming. Programs include weekly, bi-weekly and daily sessions through August:

Farm Team: Aspiring young farmers will learn how to work outdoors in the fields, weeding, watering, harvesting, and caring for vegetables. For ages six and up.

Tiny Farmers: Meet the animals, play with seeds, discover new plants and taste fresh produce, get creative with flowers and herbs, and explore the forest trails. For ages five and under and their caregivers.

Kids Farm to Table: Learn the relationship between real food and lifelong nutrition and health, and discuss the impacts of sustainable and organic practices, harvest ingredients together, and prepare a seasonal lunch. For ages five and up.

August Camp:  Kids will explore the forest spaces, the growing spaces, meet the animals, play games, get dirty, plant seeds, pull weeds, and enjoy being outdoors in the best time of year! For ages six and up.

Westchester County’s Learn to Swim Program for children ages 3-14 is open for registration. New this year are sessions for adults beginning at age 15. The program will take place at all four county-owned pools—Saxon Woods in White Plains, Sprain Ridge and Tibbetts Brook, both in Yonkers. A later date will be announced for registration at Willson’s Woods in Mt. Vernon. Westchester County Sports Camp enrollment for Slam Dunk Basketball Camp, HEAT Baseball Camp and Hole-in-One Jr. Golf Camp are open now. Slam Dunk Basketball Camp will be held at Westchester County Center for children entering grades 3-9 as of Sept. 2023. Four week-long sessions run Mon.-Fri., thru Aug. 11, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. $375 per camper per session (includes lunch). HEAT Baseball Camp for children ages 8-15 as of May 1, 2023 will be held at VF Macy Park, Ardsley. Four-week sessions run Mon.-Fri., thru Aug. 4, 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m. $300 per camper per session. At this time, they are limiting registration to four weeks per child for day camp and three weeks for Paddle Adventure Camp. Full payment due upon registration.
