Delta Airlines, which started flying from Westchester County Airport (HPN) to Boston’s Logan Airport last October, will suspend service Sept. 1.

According to Delta spokesman Drake Castaneda in a statement to the Westmore News:

“Delta will no longer operate flights from Boston (BOS) to Westchester (HPN) starting Sept. 1, 2023, but will continue to serve the Westchester market from Atlanta (ATL) and Detroit (DTW). Additionally, Delta will be reallocating those slots to increase the number of daily departures from ATL (from 5x to 7x) and DTW (from 3x to 4x) which will provide customers more flexibility and opportunities for timelier connections in those hubs.”

When asked about the equipment on the route that fliers could expect, Casteneda said: “The service to Atlanta will be operated on both the Boeing 717 and CRJ-900 aircraft, with the flights to Detroit currently slated for CRJ-900 service. This, of course, is subject to change, but this is what the flights are scheduled on currently.”
