NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed proposals will be received by the Village of Port Chester at the Office of the Village Clerk, 222 Grace Church Street, Port Chester, New York 10573 until 3:30 p.m. local time on April 14, 2023 at which time and place sealed proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud for the following:

DESIGN AND ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR HISTORICAL RESTORATION AND REHABILITATION OF THE BUSH-LYON HOMESTEAD

No proposals will be received or considered after the date/time stated above.

The Request for Proposals may be procured at the Office of the Village Clerk, 222 Grace Church Street, Port Chester, New York on March 10, 2023 9:00 a.m. local time and are also available on the Village of Port Chester’s website at www.portchesterny.gov

All submissions must be submitted by electronic format (ex. CD or USB flash drive; e-mail is not an acceptable format or method of transference) in a sealed envelope clearly marked: “RFP #2023-06 “DESIGN AND ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR HISTORICAL RESTORATION AND REHABILITATION OF THE BUSH-LYON HOMESTEAD.” Failure to comply with these requirements shall result in the proposal being deemed non-responsive.

The Village Board of Trustees reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals and to waive any informalities at its discretion in a manner deemed to be in the best interests of the Village of Port Chester. A nonprofit organization in Westchester County is seeking sealed bids for sales and installation of security related enhancements. This is a New York State Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Services grant funded project. The project includes (i) installation of one or more: technology (such as CCTV, access control, alarms, sensors, X-ray machines, magnetometer), security film, doors, locks, windows, bollards, booth, planters, barriers, lighting, fencing, privacy fencing, gates, (ii) training programs, and (iii) security personnel. Bids will be accepted until 5:00 PM on Friday April 7th. Work is expected to commence by the week of May 1st and be completed by June 30th. All interested vendors will be required to demonstrate preliminary qualifications and licensing for this work, acknowledge receipt of the proposal documents, and provide company name, business address, telephone, fax and email address, and primary contact name. Selection criteria will be based on knowledge of surveillance and security, adherence to projected work schedule, prior experience, references, and cost.
