In celebration of National Preservation Month, Histoury, a nonprofit that gives historical tours throughout New York and New England, is visiting sites on the National Register of Historic Places in Port Chester, Rye and Mamaroneck on Sunday, May 21. It will touch on the architecture and history of the buildings.
There are six sites in Port Chester on the National Register of Historic Places that could be stops on the bus tour.
Beginning at 1 p.m. in Mamaroneck at a commuter lot on the corner of Station Plaza and Jefferson Avenue, the bus tour will last about four hours, according to Histoury’s website. It will stop in Port Chester around 2:30 p.m., said Histoury employee Jess Gordillo.
Standard admission costs $75, and students can get discounted tickets for $49. Spots can be reserved by visiting histoury.org/historical-tour-calendar-and-tickets.
