The PCHS Marching Band is holding its annual fruit sale thru Nov. 12. Navel oranges, red grapefruit, fruit samplers and cheesecakes can be ordered online at freshfruitorder.org/portchester. The band or color guard members credited with the sale will be responsible for delivering the items Sat., Dec. 2. Certain holiday gift items can be ordered for delivering via UPS Ground within the continental U.S.

The Village of Port Chester is looking for its 2023 Christmas tree to light up Liberty Square during the holiday season. If you are interested in having an evergreen on your property evaluated to be the village’s 2023 Christmas tree, please notify Mayor Luis Marino’s office by telephone at 914-939-2200 or send an email to the attention of Mary Anne Veltri at [email protected]. The selected tree should stand approximately 21 feet tall.

Paula’s Pals 13th Annual Coat Drive is collecting clean, reusable coats until Dec. 1. Collection boxes are located at the Rye Brook Rec office, 938 King St., and Posillipo Center, 32 Garibaldi Pl. The annual drive is in memory of Paula Paniccia Bertolacci. For additional information 914/939-3235.

The Westchester County Department of Senior Programs and Services is offering free Medicare 101 Basics Presentations and One-on-One Medicare Counseling Thurs., Nov. 16 and Mon., Dec. 4, 10 a.m.-12 p.m. at the Westchester County Office Building, 8th Floor Conference Room, 9 S. First Ave., Mt. Vernon. Medicare open enrollment is taking place thru Dec. 7. Medicare eligible individuals can also receive one-on-one counseling and assistance by calling the Medicare Information Line at 914/813-6100.
