Frank A. Albanese: Town of Rye Highway Dept. retiree

Frank A. Albanese, 82, a longtime resident of Rye Brook, died peacefully Sept. 11, 2023.

He was born Dec. 27, 1940 in Port Chester to Frank and Lena Albanese, who predeceased him, and was raised and educated in Port Chester, graduating from Port Chester High School in 1958.

On May 21, 1966, he married Connie Sellecchia in Mount Vernon.

Mr. Albanese was a retired employee from the Town of Rye Highway Department, a parishioner of Saint Paul RC Church in Greenwich and an active member of the Port Chester Elks.

He is survived by his wife Connie, his sons Anthony (wife Tracy) of Blauvelt, N.Y. and Frankjon (wife Karit) of Rye Brook and his five grandchildren: Anthony, Taylor, Danny, Lucas, and Nicco.

He was predeceased by his sister Lillian Santarsiero.

He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held Thursday, Sept. 14 at Saint Paul RC Church followed by entombment at Greenwood Union Cemetery in Rye.
