Geovanny Japa and Rodrigo Romero, both of Port Chester, graduated this spring with the Class of 2023 from the New York Institute of Technology in Old Westbury. Giovanny completed NY Tech’s Architecture, BARCH program; Rodrigo completed NY Tech’s Data Science MS program.The next Port Chester High School Marching Band bottle and can recycling collection will be Sun., Oct. 1, 10 a.m.-12 p.m., in the Middle School parking lot on Bowman Avenue, Rye Brook. The Westchester County Department of Health is reminding families to book back-to-school vaccine visits with your child’s healthcare provider or at the free back-to-school clinics. Families with no insurance, ChildHealthPlus or Medicaid should call the County Health Department to schedule an appointment for vaccines at no charge. Manhattanville College has once again been ranked by “U.S. News & World Report” as one of the “Top Performers for Social Mobility.” The college ranked #1 for private, non-profit schools in New York and 18th overall for social mobility in Regional Universities North, according to the 2024 Best Colleges rankings issued this week. This is the third consecutive year that Manhattanville has been recognized as the top private, non-profit college in New York by the nationally recognized “U.S. News & World Report” ranking.
