The Holocaust & Human Rights Education Center will present From Trauma to Healing: The Inherited Gifts and Challenges of Growing Up in the Shadow of the Holocaust, Wed., Oct. 4 at 4 p.m. via Zoom. The program will include a conversation and Q&A with three of the editors and contributors of the award-winning book The Ones Who Remember: Second-Generation Voices of the Holocaust which provides a window into the lived experience of 16 different families grappling with the legacy of genocide. The editors, Rita Benn, Joy Wolfe Ensor and Ruth Finkel Wade, will share the impact of their Holocaust survivor parents’ experiences on their own lives.
