Lucia Langworth, 84, of Port Chester, died at her home Apr. 13, 2024
She was born June 30, 1939 to Alfred and Jane Lenoci who predeceased her.
She was raised and educated in Port Chester, graduated from Rye High School and later moved back to her Port Chester childhood home.
She married Joseph Louis Langworth on May 1, 1960 at Corpus Christi Church in Port Chester, where she was a lifelong parishioner and volunteer.
Mrs. Langworth was a gifted artist who first worked as an assistant with an architectural firm but will be most remembered as a longtime teacher’s aide at King Street School and Port Chester Middle School.
In addition to her beloved husband of 63 years, she is survived by her children Janice and husband Gary Barnes, Debra and husband John Cotte, Joe Langworth and husband Jim Jones and Michael Langworth and wife Joanne; five grandchildren: Samantha McGovern, Sarah Couto, Rebecca LaBella and Christina and J.D. Cotte, niece and nephew Diana and Steven Scarcia, three great-grandchildren and many beloved cousins.
She was predeceased by her brother Alfred (Butch) Lenoci and wife Donna.
A funeral service was held Thurs., Apr. 18 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc. in Port Chester followed by entombment Saint Mary's Cemetery in Rye Brook.
