The Bruce Museum, 1 Museum Dr., Greenwich is presenting Hockney/Origins: Early Works from the Roy B. and Edith J. Simpson Collections. This ongoing exhibition features rarely displayed works on loan from the Bank of America Collection; Photographic Revolutionaries of Group f/64: Works from the Bank of America Collection. The exhibition celebrates the dawn of photography as fine art and features seminal works by Ansel Adams, Imogen Cunningham, Willard Van Dyke, Brett Weston and Edward Weston thru Apr. 28; Arms and Armor: Evolution and Innovation, thru Aug. 11; Andy Warhol: Small is Beautiful, thru Oct. 13; King Nyani has taken up ongoing residence at the Bruce. King Nyani, named for the Swahili word for gorilla, is a bronze sculpture created by the husband-wife artist team of Gillie and Marc Schattner. The sculpture is a behemoth, clocking in at nearly 5,000 pounds and stretching 23 feet long and 8.5 feet high. Clocktower Players will offer Summerstage 2024 for ages 6-12 at Hastings American Legion. 215 Farragut Ave., Hastings-on-Hudson. There will be eight sessions for $412 per session.
