Barbara Cerone: Retired office manager

Barbara Cerone, 81, of Rye Brook, died peacefully in her sleep Aug. 3, 2024.
She was born in Greenwich, Conn., Dec. 19, 1942 to Harmon Sr. and Mary Berlingo, who predeceased her. She was raised in Port Chester alongside her brother Harmon.
She graduated from Port Chester High School in 1960, and shortly after married the love of her life, Carmine, on Oct. 21, 1962.
Together they created a beautiful family with their two daughters, Donna and Andrea.
After working for 20 years as the office manager at Caputo & Associates, she retired and spent her days shopping, enjoying a glass of white wine with her friends, and listening to Elvis Presley.
She is survived by her eldest daughter, Donna Caputo, and her husband Rocco of Greenwich as well as their children, her two granddaughters, Alyssa Caputo and her husband Zak Vonderkall of Scarsdale and Victoria Caputo of Port Chester and her brother Harmon Berlingo and his wife Teresa of Greenwich.
While her presence will be greatly missed, she has created a beautiful legacy that will continue to live on through generations to come.
She was predeceased by her husband Carmine and her daughter Andrea.
While the lives of her family here on earth will never be the same, those who love her in heaven are overjoyed by her presence and the beautiful reunion they have long waited for.
