PORT CHESTER BOARD OF TRUSTEES AGENDA WORK SESSSION. Village Hall Conference Room, 222 Grace Church St., Port Chester. 6:30 p.m.: Executive session to interview candidates for board/commissions. 7 p.m.: Public meeting. Draft agenda: 1) Discussion: Limiting trustee closing comments to 5 minutes per trustee. 2) Discussion: Requiring all board members to attend 20 of the 24 regular board meetings in person. This would exclude agenda meetings. 3) Discussion: Making the agenda meeting voluntary. 4) Discussion: Working with the school district to request the bus companies they contract with to install cameras on their buses to help enforce drivers passing school buses while stop signs and lights are engaged. 5) Discussion: Update on parking permit program for Washington Park section of Port Chester. 6) Discussion: Code changes to reflect conditions of vacant buildings. 7) Discussion: Discuss and pass a proposal addressing the issue of abandoned buildings and blight in the village. 8) Discussion: Options for considering extensions of site plan approvals. 9) Discussion: Updating the findings statement to reflect increased buildout capacity covered by mitigation fees and its interplay with recommendations from the Form-based Code Review Committee. 10) Report of the village manager. 11) Approval of the Port Chester Fire Department election of chief engineer, first and second assistant engineers. 12) Reappointment of Charles Hoge, Jr. to the Planning Commission with his term to expire 6/16/27. 13) Reappointment of Abram Falk to the Zoning Board of Appeals with his term to expire 12/31/26. 14) Setting a public hearing to consider adopting a local law amending the zoning code to include regulations for battery energy storage systems facilities and referring to Westchester County Planning Board and Port Chester Planning Commission. 15) Setting a public hearing to consider adopting a local law amending the zoning code to amend use table to limit the number of zoning districts and areas where self storage facilities permitted and referring to Westchester County Planning Board and Port Chester Planning Commission. 16) Work session on agenda for Jan. 6, 2025 BOT meeting. 17) Work session on agenda for Jan. 21, 2025 BOT meeting.
