2023-2024 VILLAGE OF RYE BROOK TAX

SECOND INSTALLMENT REMINDER

This is a courtesy reminder to all taxpayers whose property is located in the Village of  Rye  Brook that the second installment of the village tax is due by February 29, 2024. Payments must be  POSTMARKED BY THE U S POST OFFICE NO LATER THAN February 29, 2024.  If payment is not received by that date, a mandatory, non-waivable penalty of 2% will be added for the month of  March and will increase monthly thereafter.

For your convenience, there are three ways for you to make payments.

1)You may mail your check in the envelope provided.  Be sure to include the second installment stub of the bill.  If you would like a receipt, mark the appropriate box.  Payments must be postmarked by the US Post Office no later than February 29, 2024 to avoid the penalty.

2)You may also drop your payment in the special locked box in front of the building at 222 Grace Church Street, Port Chester. Include the whole bill with your payment. You do not need a stamp. We will mail you a receipt.

3)You may pay on line. You may also pay by credit card. Please be advised that there is a fee of 2.35% that will be applied to payments with credit cards, debit cards (Mastercard, Visa, Discover, American Express) and pay pal. The minimum fee is $1.95. A convenience fee of $1.50 will be applied to all payments made by ACH/eCheck.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed bids will be received by the Village of Port Chester until February 29, 2024 at 3:30 p.m. local time at the Office of the Village Clerk, 222 Grace Church Street, Port Chester, New York 10573, at which time and place sealed bids will be publicly opened and read aloud for “Bus Transportation (Coach Transportation or Equivalent).”

No bids will be received or considered after the date/time stated above.

Plans, Specification and Contract documents may be procured at the Office of the Village Clerk, 222 Grace Church Street, Port Chester, New York beginning on February12, 2024 at 12:30 p.m. and available on the Village’s web-page www.portchesterny.gov/Bids.aspx or in person at the office during regular business hours.

All bids must be submitted by electronic format (ex.: CD or USB flash drive: E-mail is not an acceptable format or method of transference) and a single, original hard copy both contained in a sealed envelope clearly marked:

The Board of Trustees of the Village of Port Chester reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, waive any informalities at its discretion, and to make such award as it deems is in the best interest of the Village of Port Chester even if such award is to other than the lowest bidder.
