On Dec. 29, decades-long resident of mighty Port Chester, Robina Wolfson, celebrated. Anyone who ever saw her dance going back to the glory days in New Rochelle and now all over NYC will tell you that nobody does it better. As a former best friend of mine told me way, way back: she was and is Simply the Best. Keep the beat going…

Happy birthday to Rick Dooley of Port Chester who celebrates Jan. 10.

Happy birthday to Samantha Rednick of Rye Brook who will be 20 on Jan. 6.

Stepinac High School has kicked off the new year by launching another unique curriculum innovation—the Global Scholars Diploma—a major development in secondary education. The Global Scholars Diploma will help students distinguish themselves in the highly competitive college admissions market and will empower them with the skills and knowledge they need to be globally competitive in an interdependent world, now while they are exploring and pursuing their interests at high school, later at college and in their future professions.
