The Port Chester Job Fair for an Emerging Economy, originally scheduled for Jan. 19, has been postponed to Fri., Feb. 2 due to the weather. Fair will be at the Carver Center, 400 Westchester Ave., 3:30-7 p.m. Free childcare will be available from 4-6:30 p.m. The event will showcase opportunities in renewable energy, clean technology, green construction and labor, and is a joint event sponsored by the Village of Port Chester, Carver Center and Soulful Synergy. Blind Brook Middle School, 840 King St., Rye Brook, will present “Finding Nemo” Fri. & Sat., Feb. 2 & 3. Performances are Fri. at 7 p.m. and Sat. at 12 & 4 p.m. Tickets are $15 with a nominal service fee per ticket for online orders. Tickets are limited to eight for each performance per purchaser. Seating is assigned for all performances. The closing ceremony will be held after the Sat. 4 p.m. show. Port Chester Mayor Luis Marino will deliver his first State of the Village address Wed., Jan. 31, 5-5:30 p.m. followed by a brief reception at the Port Chester Senior Center, 220 Grace Church St. Mayor Marino will highlight the progress the village has made since he became mayor.
