The Port Chester Entertainment Committee has announced the schedule of Friday night summer concerts in Lyon Park, 7:30-9 p.m. July 26 will feature Jaana Narsipur (a Port Chester resident until recently) singing jazz and R&B Aug 2 will feature The M80s from Westchester with the best of 80’s music. The Village of Rye Brook will host its final Ice Cream Friday, serving free ice cream at Pine Ridge Park, Latonia Road, July 26, 6-7:30 p.m. and The Great Lawn Summer Series--Music in the Park featuring Kickin’ Nash in Pine Ridge Park, Wed., July 31 at 6:45 p.m. The July 24 concert featuring Logical Pretzel was canceled due to inclement weather and has been rescheduled to Wed., Aug. 14 (rain date: Aug. 15). The Village of Rye Brook Sustainability Committee is sponsoring a Community Tag Sale, Sat., July 27, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Rain date: July 28 at the same time. Every year, hundreds of useful items are thrown away in bulk trash. To encourage people to give these items a second life, the Committee has organized this community-wide tag sale event at various home locations and at Forever Families Through Adoption at 62 Bowman Ave.

The Port Chester Council for the Arts will present “The Sound of Music Youth Edition” Thurs., Aug. 1 (rain date: Aug. 2) on the Great Lawn at Crawford Park, 122 N. Ridge St., Rye Brook at 2 & 6 p.m. Tickets are $15 cash or Venmo at the door and the Annual Alumni Production of “Feels Like Home” at 8 p.m. indoors in the air-conditioned Crawford Park Mansion. There will be a cash bar, raffles and a stellar performance featuring 35 PCCFA alumni members. The event is a fundraiser for their 2024 Fall after school programming. Summer Programs

Clay Art Center, 40 Beech St., Port Chester offers Summer Camps for children ages 7-15, thru Aug. 23. Have your kids unplug with mud in half and full-day camps that will include wheel throwing, handbuilding and sculpture. Campers will craft everything from mythical creatures, animals and world culture artifacts to handmade cups, bowls and plates that your family will treasure forever. Morning camp, 9 a.m.-12 p.m.; Afternoon camp, 1-4 p.m. Each is $325 per week. www.clayartcenter.org

Rye Brook Summer Day Camp 2024 runs thru Aug. 16 at Crawford Park. Morning drop-off is at 8:30 a.m. and afternoon pick-up is at 3:30 p.m. Resident fees: 3 weeks--$745 first child; $595 additional child; 2 weeks--$600 first child; $500 additional child; 1 week--$395 first child; $315 additional child. Port Chester Recreation offers a 6-Week Day Camp for children ages 5-12 (child must have completed kindergarten) from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm. Mon.-Fri., thru Aug. 9 at King Street School. Children swim at Saxon Woods Pool. The youngsters participate in a variety of activities: sports, games, arts and crafts, trips, special events. Several entertainers visit the camp. Registration is online on a first come-first served basis. $100 deposit is required at time of registration with checks payable to P.C. Recreation Department. An immunization record and small photo must be submitted prior to the start of camp. Space is limited to the first 150 registered per session. Register for Session 1: 3 weeks; Session 2: 3 weeks. $325 per session first child; $295 second child; $235 third child; Non-resident 3 weeks: $375. Port Chester Recreation offers Cub Camp for ages 3, 4 & 5, thru Aug. 2; Mon.-Fri., 9 a.m.-12 p.m. at the Girl Scout House in Lyon Park. $200 per 2-week session. There will be entertainers, arts & crafts, treasure hunt, carnival and more. Parent or guardian must drop off and pick up camper. Campers should bring snacks in a bag with their name clearly printed on the outside of the bag. Cub Camp is a nut free camp. 914/939-2354.
