PORT CHESTER PLANNING COMMISSION. Town of Rye Justice Courtroom, 350 N. Main St., Port Chester. 6:30 p.m. Agenda: 1) Continued public hearing on application for site plan approval to construct a 100-unit apartment building at 229 Willett Ave. 2) Continued public hearing on application for site plan redevelopment approval for revisions within the 15-story building of 280 residential units, 8,700 sf of ground floor commercial space and 271 self-parking spaces at 44 Broad St. 3) Continued public hearing on application for site plan approval and special exception use to allow for a 3-story self-storage facility at 120 Midland Ave. 4) Continued public hearing on application for site plan approval to reactivate and continue redeveloping the commercial parcels along Midland Avenue now known as 120, 130 and 140 Midland. Applicant proposes to update the façade of the existing 18,586 sf building at the site as well as to construct a 3,370 sf addition in the rear of the building at 140 Midland Ave. 5) Continued public hearing on application for site plan approval for reuse of the existing building to convert warehouse space into four loft style apartments at 189 ½ N. Spitzer. 2) Discussion on the Real Property Tax Law 467 – Exemption for persons 65 and over with limited income. 3) Discussion on dogs in village parks. 4) Set a date for the workshop(s) to discuss the CD5 and CD6 committee report. 5) Discussion on geothermal and thermal energy networks – a program of Sustainable Westchester. 6) Discussion on policy for use of the senior community center. 7) Discussion on Rye Town tax levels. 8) Discussion on sister city. 9) Discussion on status of parking and traffic studies. 10) Report of the village manager. 11) Enter into an IMA with Westchester County to allow the police department to conduct training at the Westchester County Police Firing Range in Valhalla. 12) Work session to set agenda for July 1 Board of Trustees meeting.
