Neptune in June will present a Short Films Screening Night, Sat., June 22, 7:30-9 p.m. in the Premier Building, 33 New Broad St., Port Chester. A National Independence Day Juneteenth ceremony, hosted by the Town of Rye and The Osborn in Rye, will be held Sat., June 22, 10 a.m.-12 p.m. at the African American Cemetery, 215 North St., Rye. The ceremony will be followed by a Volunteer Service Project at the Cemetery. Juneteenth is a holiday commemorating the end of slavery in the U.S. and honoring the culture and achievements of African Americans. Rain date: Sun., June 23.

The Village of Port Chester will present a Pride Day Event Sat., June 22, 9-11 a.m. at Liberty Square. There will be a flag raising, arts & crafts, giveaways and a music performance by Kiah Thomas.
