Pasquale A. ‘Pat’ Embesi: WWII veteran and clothing salesman

Pasquale A. "Pat" Embesi, 97, a lifelong resident of Port Chester, died at home Mar. 21, 2024 surrounded by family.
He was born Oct. 31, 1926 in Port Chester to John and Marianna Ciccone Embesi who predeceased him.
He was raised and educated in Port Chester, graduating from Port Chester High School in 1945, then serving in the U.S Army from January 1945 to November 1946.
He was married Oct. 3, 1954 to Frances Salerno at Corpus Christi Church in Port Chester.
Mr. Embesi was a salesman at Henry's Men’s Shop in Port Chester for 40 years and then at Levine's Army & Navy Store in Port Chester for 10 years.
He was a devoted and lifelong parishioner of Corpus Christi Church and a member of the Corpus Christi Seniors and the Port Chester Seniors.
He loved to dance and was avid about workouts at his gym.
He is survived by his beloved wife Frances Embesi of Port Chester and several nieces, nephews and grand-nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his sisters Mary Sapione and Lena Bueti and brother Anthony Embesi.
