Henry A. Lowet, 92, a longtime resident of Rye Brook, died peacefully at home Nov. 2, 2024.
He was born Aug. 13, 1932 and was a graduate of the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill and Yale Law School.
Mr. Lowet was an esteemed trust and estate attorney and a partner at Kramer Levin, Anderson Kill and Phillips Nizer law firms and a board member of the Lucius N. Littauer Foundation and the American Heart Association.
He served as President of the Blind Brook-Rye Union School District Board of Education and as President of the Board of Trustees of Congregation KTI in Port Chester.
He is survived by his wife Eleanor and his children Stephanie (Ames Gross), Peter (Laurie Sloss) and Jonathan (Thoms Tsang) and grandchildren Daniel, Benjamin, Adam, Naomi and Elyse.
Donations in his memory may be made to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum (ushmm.org) or the Joint Distribution Committee (jdc.org).
Arrangements were by Parkside Memorial Chapel.
John Jackson, 72, of Port Chester, died Nov. 7, 2024.
He was born in Fairmont, N.C. June 1, 1952 to John Luther Jackson and Nettie Mae Jones-Jackson who predeceased him.
He was also predeceased by his brothers Andrew and Albert Jackson and his stepfather Reverend Spruill.
Mr. Jackson is survived by his brothers Jerry Jackson, James Jackson (Tierra) and Daniel Jackson (Shirley) and his Aunt Christine Johnson.
A funeral service was held Nov. 15 at the Calvary Baptist Church in White Plains.
Ralph Stingone, 76, of Port Chester died Nov. 13, 2024.
He was born Aug. 18, 1948 to Ralph Stingone and Millie Stingone, who predeceased him, and was also predeceased by a son, Sage.
He is survived by his daughter Sara Bonvino (Angelo), granddaughters Gabriella and Sophia, siblings Maria (Frank) and Joey (Nancy), a nephew Joseph and a niece Joelle.
A Funeral Mass was held Nov. 18 at Church of the Resurrection in Rye.
