New Crystal Restoration, a leading restoration company in Westchester County, has announced the addition of Diosel Pineda Ocampo as operations manager and the promotion of Don O'Dell to head of project management.

With a solid foundation of 25 years in the construction industry and five years of specialized experience in restoration, Ocampo will bring a wealth of knowledge and hands-on expertise to the Port Chester-based company.

Starting his career in the field, performing extractions and handling mold and sewage remediation, Ocampo quickly advanced through the ranks. After just one year as a technician with his previous company, he was promoted to foreman, where he led teams in fire and mold remediation, contents cleaning, and laser cleaning. His remarkable leadership, years of experience, and technical skills soon earned him the role of operations manager.

In his new position, he will oversee field employees, including foremen and project managers. He will be responsible for managing all projects from water, fire, and mold mitigation, asbestos abatement and reconstruction. With a focus on commercial properties in New York, Connecticut, and New Jersey, Ocampo will manage multiple projects, ensuring timely completion, client satisfaction, and seamless coordination among crews, insurance adjusters and clients.

His fluency in Spanish further enhances communication with a broader range of clients and team members.

New Crystal Restoration is thrilled to welcome him to the team, confident that his proven expertise and leadership will elevate the company's operations, continuing the tradition of excellence established since 1960.

Don O’Dell moves up

With over a decade of industry experience and numerous certifications, O’Dell will lead NCR's project management team, ensuring high-quality service and seamless project execution.

O’Dell is certified by the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning, and Restoration Certification (IICRC) in Applied Microbial Remediation, Water Damage Restoration, and Fire and Smoke Damage Restoration to name a few. His extensive expertise in managing complex restoration projects makes him an invaluable leader on the NCR team.

In addition to his IICRC certifications, O’Dell has completed Claims Training for Subrogation 1&2 and Restoration Estimating, equipping him to navigate the insurance claims process efficiently. He is also OSHA certified, ensuring compliance with safety standards on all job sites, and holds certification as a New York State Mold Abatement Worker/Supervisor and is Lead Renovation Certified.

"We are thrilled to have Don step into this leadership role," said Lisa Cordasco, CEO of New Crystal Restoration. "His depth of experience, commitment to quality, and dedication to safety will further strengthen our project management team and enhance the services we provide to our clients." With Don’s promotion, NCR continues to uphold its longstanding tradition of excellence in restoration, capital improvements, and asbestos abatement throughout the tri-state area.
