Boston Post Road Owner LLC is looking for an amended site plan for the former United Hospital property, according to discussion at the Monday, Oct. 28 Board of Trustees agenda-setting session.
They are looking to add 182 residential units to the site, to reduce the number of 2-bedroom units and increase the number of one-bedroom units.
A full presentation on the proposed changes will be made at the Board of Trustees’ Monday, Nov. 4 regular meeting.
“Travel patterns are such that there wouldn’t be a significant increase in the peak hours of traffic,” said Greg Cutler, director of Planning and Economic Development.
“The sewer and water usage increase isn’t material,” he added.
The previously approved plan for the 406-408 Boston Post Rd. and 999 High St. site included 775 residential units plus 200 units of senior housing.
Following Monday’s presentation, the Board of Trustees plans to declare itself lead agency on the plan review and will refer the amended site plan to the Westchester County Planning Department and to the Port Chester Planning Commission for review and recommendation.
