Harriet Hathaway Johnson, 98, of Port Chester, died Aug. 18, 2024.
She was born in New York City May 26, 1926.
Mrs. Johnson was predeceased by her sister Betty Jo Russo and is survived by her children: Burr Johnson, Jr. (Kathleen Dahill), David Johnson, Rebecca Johnson Mahan (Sean Mahan) and Charles Johnson (Maria Andrade) and her grandchildren: Caroline, Katie Johnson, Emma, Laurel Selmo-Johnson, Connor, Kevin Mahan and Xavier Andrade.
In lieu of flowers, feel free to donate to a no-kill animal shelter or animal rescue in your town to honor her lifelong love of animals: "They don't care if you're old, wrinkly, or hunched over."
