Richard Caviola: Quick Loans proprietor

Richard (Rick) Caviola, 80, of Albany, Ga., died Sept. 3, 2024.
He was born Aug. 17, 1944 in Port Chester, the oldest of four children born to John and Amy (Phelan) Caviola.
Mr. Caviola was a 1962 graduate of Port Chester High School and met Carol, the love of his life, while stationed with the Army at Fort Benning, Ga.
They married and started their family while settled in Georgia where he was the proprietor of Quick Loans in Albany, Ga.
Carol predeceased Rick eight years ago, and he was also predeceased by his sister Mary Brantley and brother John Caviola within the past three and a half years.
He is survived by his children Christine Banks, Melinda Barbree and John Caviola; his sister Kathy Caviola of Greenwich, Conn.; several grand and great-grandchildren and a host of cousins.
Services were held in Georgia.
