Giovina “Jean” R. Starace, 88, of Port Chester, died Sept. 20, 2024.
She was born Aug. 10, 1936 in NYC to Louis and Regina Starace.
Jean worked as the Vice President of Human Resources for Merrill Lynch.
Following her retirement, she spent her time as an administrative assistant for Mamaroneck High School.
She was a loving and kind woman, a true friend to all who knew her, and she’ll be sorely missed.
She was predeceased by her brother, Frank Starace, and leaves behind her many cherished friends.
A funeral service was held at Resurrection Church in Rye followed by a private committal.
Memorial donations may be sent to either Memorial Sloan Kettering, Blythedale Children’s Hospital or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
Arrangements were by Coxe & Graziano Funeral Home in Mamaroneck.
Edith Evans, 89, of Sun Lakes, Ariz., a former Rye Brook resident, died Sept. 23, 2024.
She was born May 6, 1935 and was a former longtime member and past president of Congregation K.T.I. in Port Chester.
She was predeceased by her husband, Dr. Seymour Evans, who was a dentist in Port Chester.
