Carol Halpern of Rock Ridge Drive accepts a tomato plant from David Bacchioni of Windingwood Road North. Bacchioni was one of several members of the Sustainability Committee present at Crawford Park to educate the public on recycling and pass out plants. Rain may have ruined the fun and brought the 33rd Rye Brook Birthday Party to an early end on Saturday afternoon, June 20, but residents still got to eat cake, play games and listen to music first.
