Two local veterans scheduled to go on a flight to Washington, D.C. to see the various war memorials on Saturday, May 9 were not able to make it, one due to illness and the other because he died. In their honor, pictures of them in uniform, as well as two flags flown over the United States Capitol, made the journey in their place. From left: Civil Air Patrol Cadet Lt. Col.
