Laurie Glockenberg reassures a slightly nervous Chris Brescio that his first day of kindergarten in her class will go smoothly. The annual kindergarten ice cream social hosted by the King Street School PTA took place near the playground behind the school on Tuesday, Sept. 1, the day before classes started.
