Jaymee Alpert, the rabbi at Congregation Kneses Tifereth Israel in Port Chester, speaks about her inability as a white woman to understand what it feels like to be a young, black man in America at the moment. The keynote speaker also drew similarities between Jewish persecution throughout history and the racial challenges still present in the country today.
