Port Chester Mayor Dennis Pilla addresses the crowd of people in front of the Sept. 11 memorial because of a “tragedy that sits very close to home,” Pilla said. The mayor took a moment to list a few community members who were directly affected 15 years ago by the attack on the Twin Towers and reminded those gathered that America has “grown stronger and more united” than ever before.
