The Sept. 11 Memorial Ceremony in Lyon Park was well attended; about 200 community members, firefighters, police officers, state and local officials turned out at Lyon Park to pay their respects and to remember the almost 3,000 people who lost their lives on Sept. 11, 2001 in New York City and others who died that day at the Pentagon and in Shanksville, Pa. as a result of terrorist attacks.
