The only thing Maddy wants is the stick in her owner, Ilana Costello’s, hand. Costello grew up in Rye and now resides in Hastings. She comes to the park every chance she gets with her “pack” of nine dogs – she runs a dog daycare service. The dog park, funded by a grant from PetSafe, private donations and the Village of Port Chester, is located within Abendroth Park off Touraine Avenue. The event was to celebrate the park’s first Pawsiversary on Saturday, Sept. 24. Photo Story by Casey Watts
