Jack (sixth-grader Connor McCreath) is reluctant to sell his cow Milky White (eighth-grader Annabelle Hirsch) to the Baker and his wife (eighth-graders Cassandra Brunetti and Holly O’Neill) for magic beans. Milky White is Jack’s best friend, but the couple needs “the cow as white as milk” to break the Witch’s curse, which prevents them from having children.
