A commercial vehicle from GFX Site Development struck this utility pole at the corner of King Street and Tower Hill Drive around 5 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 26 and snapped it in half, pulling down a mass of wires and cables servicing many residences in the area which provided them with electricity, cable television, telephone and internet. A portion of King Street was blocked off for hours while the accident was cleared and utility trucks worked to repair the damage.
