Port Chester’s William J. (Bill) Villanova, whose guest appearance as the funeral director in HBO’s final season of “Succession” won him many fans and plaudits throughout the funeral industry, was invited to the annual Emmy telecast (seen Monday night, Jan. 15, on Fox) by the “Succession” production team. Villanova’s daytime job is as president of the famed Frank E. Campbell Funeral Chapel in Manhattan which was featured in “Succession” as the location for the funeral of the show’s main character, Logan Roy.
