Port Chester Clean-up Day

Port Chester High School students clear up a large pile of trash and discarded items in the parking lot at 45 Traverse Ave. on Saturday, June 4 as part of the annual clean-up day organized by the Port Chester Beautification Commission.
A group of Port Chester High School students, along with Beautification Commission member Lou Del Bianco, point to the now empty corner of the parking lot at 45 Traverse Ave. The spot had been covered in trash until the students cleared it up.
The volunteers, including many Port Chester High School students who are either Anthony Foust mentors or part of Steer For Student Athletes, gather in the Metro-North train station parking lot on Broad Street.
After meeting in the Metro-North train station parking lot, volunteers head towards King Street to start picking up litter.
