Pups from all over celebrate P.C. Dog Park’s Pawsiversary
September 29, 2016 at 4:03 a.m.

Two black poodle pups raced around the small dog park and jumped on anyone they could find to beg for just a little attention.

Follow the leader! A Rottweiler leads the way while Emma, owned by Jamie Bambace of Port Chester, and a Shiba Inu follow.

A beagle begs for belly rubs and gets a kiss from his new friend Emma instead.

Jazzy the German Shepard keeps an eye on her owner, Joanne Corvino of Harrison, at all times.

Ruby, owned by Gabriel Cid of Greenwich, loved to stick her face right into the water bowl, especially after she knocked it over.

Sprinkles did not want to give his owner, Kevin Dillon of Greenwich, Conn., a kiss. Instead, he just wanted to run around and get pets from anyone he could.

Stella poses with her best friend Joseph Bauman, 7, of Maywood Avenue in Rye Brook.

Four-month-old husky pup Max, owned by Dahara Salazar of Port Chester, plays with his friend and training class buddy Maddy. Maddy is letting Max win this fight, Maddy’s owner, Ilana Costello of Hastings, said.

Chocolate Labrador Loki looks over to his fellow furry friends romping in the dog park while his owner, Steven Garcia, who works in Port Chester but lives in White Plains., finishes his lunch.

Emma, owned by Jamie Bambace of Port Chester, gave her biggest smile to show how happy she was to be at the Port Chester Dog Park.

The only thing Maddy wants is the stick in her owner, Ilana Costello’s, hand. Costello grew up in Rye and now resides in Hastings. She comes to the park every chance she gets with her “pack” of nine dogs – she runs a dog daycare service.

The dog park, funded by a grant from PetSafe, private donations and the Village of Port Chester, is located within Abendroth Park off Touraine Avenue. The event was to celebrate the park’s first Pawsiversary on Saturday, Sept. 24. Photo Story by Casey Watts
