Sing-along and Santa at the Library
December 14, 2017 at 5:43 a.m.
As Harrison resident Chloe Tompkins, of Chloe’s Kids, fills the room with bubbles, children and toddlers excitedly chase after them to pop.
A group of toddlers surround Chloe to listen to her sing some jingles and get a closer look at her accordion at the Chloe’s Kids Presents: Sing-Alongs with Santa at the Port Chester-Rye Brook Public Library on Tuesday, Dec. 12.
Port Chester residents Estrella and Bruce Marziani bring their children Matteo, a 4-year-old and Caterina, who is about to be 2 years old, for a family photo with Santa Claus. The Marziani family always goesto Port Chester-Rye Brook Public Library holiday programs throughout the year.
Chloe sings “If You’re Happy and You Know It” with a group of dancing children and toddlers.
Justin Allcca, a Port Chester 9-month-old, sports his “My 1st Christmas” Santa hat as he crawls around the library.
Michael Ferreira, a 2-year-old, is a little nervous about meeting Santa, but his 4-year-old sister, Sarah, and mother, Mara, help him gain the courage. “Silly Santa,” played by Ellis Adler, traveled by horse and sleigh from Long Island to meet the children.
They are in the library! Summit Ave resident Lesley Zlabinger reads a Dr. Seuss book to her 3-year-old son, Jack, while her other son, 11-month-old Huey, is distracted by some toys.
