PCHS is working ’9 to 5’

<p class="Picture">Capturing your terrible boss and making him a prisoner in his own home is a reason to celebrate for the characters in the musical “9 to 5.” </p>
<p class="Picture">After tying him up, the three protagonists wheel their boss off to his home. </p>
<p class="Picture">In a Snow White style song, Violet Newstead (Grace Simmons) acts out poisoning her boss’s coffee in retaliation for his egotistical and sexist actions. </p>
<p class="Picture">Even with a gun to his head, Franklin Hart Jr. (Ryan Heffernan) still can’t say a nice thing about his female workers Violet Newstead (Grace Simmons), Judy Bernly (Olivia Perrone) and Doralee Rhodes (Elizabeth Montemurro). </p>
<p class="Picture">Dancing with Judy Bernly (Olivia Perrone) can be deadly. Bernly sings “Dance o’ Death” to illustrate what she would do to her sexist boss Franklin Hart Jr. (Ryan Heffernan).</p>
<p class="Picture">Roz Keith, played by Grace Herbert, sings about her crush on Franklin Hart Jr. during the song “Heart to Hart.”</p>
<p class="Picture">Doralee Rhodes (Elizabeth Montemurro) is none the wiser that her boss Franklin Hart Jr. (Ryan Heffernan) is checking her out. </p>
<p class="Picture">Doralee Rhodes, played by senior Elizabeth Montemurro, shows her boss Franklin Hart Jr., played by Ryan Heffernan, what a cowgirl does to someone who mistreats her. Port Chester High School presents “9 to 5” on Friday, March 30 and Saturday, April 1 in the auditorium. Showtime is at 7 p.m. both nights.
