P.C. seniors celebrate Christmas with a crazy dance party
December 27, 2018 at 5:51 a.m.
To get the Christmas party going at the Port Chester Senior Center on Grace Church Street on Saturday, Dec. 15, Port Chester resident Emma Ampuero (left) takes to the open floor to dance to “Celebration” with King Street resident Anna Strauch, who’s busily showing off her crazy moves.
Volunteering with a half dozen others from the Carver Center, 15-year-old Purdy Avenue resident Cameron Burnett delivers a heaping tray of cookies to one of the tables.
Monroe Place resident Frank Bellantoni and his wife Carmella relax and enjoy Christmas cookies together at the party.
Fairview Place resident Martha Bell leads a group of partygoers in the “Electric Slide” in front of the DJ booth and festive Christmas tree.
Senior Center members aren’t the only ones getting into the holiday fun. As a guest of her mother-in-law, Tower Hill Drive resident Marianne Luchetta dances at the end of a line of others doing the “Cha-Cha Slide.”
