Princess Fiona (played by Emily Zeller) offers Shrek (played by Michael Lieberman) her handkerchief as a gift for coming to rescue her from the tower during Blind Brook High School’s production of “Shrek the Musical” playing in the high school auditorium from Thursday, Mar. 8 through Saturday, Mar. 10.
Singing “Story of My Life,” Pinocchio (played by Ethan Berman) describes the struggles of being a fairytale creature.
After a cluster a fairytale characters bombard Shrek (played by Michael Lieberman) at his swamp, he’s annoyed by their pleas to help them return home.
Shrek (played by Michael Lieberman) tries to keep Donkey (played by Justin Levine) quiet after they jump off stage to hide from Lord Farquaad’s guards.
Lord Farquaad (played by Lee Price) tortures the Gingerbread Man (played by Julia Short) to get more information about Princess Fiona.
The Dragon (played by Ellie Sanchez) is irritated by Donkey’s unexpected visit, that is until she declares her everlasting love.
A young Shrek (played by Noah Lupow) and Fiona (played by Samantha Beadle) briefly meet while their backstories are explained.
Shrek (played by Michael Lieberman) very much enjoys, and prefers, his life alone in the swamp.
A group of familiar fairytale faces sing about the harsh reality of their life.
Scared by passing trouble, Donkey (played by Justin Levine) jumps into Shrek’s (played by Michael Lieberman) arms.
In “What’s Up, Duloc?” Lord Farquaad (played by Lee Price) sings about the “improvements” he’s making to the castle with the help of the Duloc dancers.
Donkey (played by Justin Levine) tries to give Shrek (played by Michael Lieberman) advice on how to treat the unsatisfied Princess Fiona (played by Emily Zeller).
