Santa Claus makes appearance at Rye Town Park tree lighting

More than 300 people gather on Saturday, Dec. 7, to watch the second annual Christmas tree lighting at the corner of Forest and Rye Beach avenues in Rye Town Park. Onlookers had the opportunity to meet Santa Claus and enjoy hot cocoa with friends and family.
Children eagerly run to the Rye Town Park corner for a chance to meet Santa Claus, played by Armonk resident Jeff Fernandes, and give him high fives.
