Festive trees lit across Crawford Park
December 19, 2019 at 8:10 a.m.
Westchester Avenue residents 4-year-old Azarriah “Mimi” Washington (left) and Alayla “Buddy” Johnson-Washington, 7, run toward the trees after they were lit for the holidays to pose for the camera during the Crawford Mansion Community Center’s public opening on Sunday, Dec. 16.
One of the lit trees adds a festive touch to the area around Crawford Mansion for visitors to enjoy during the community center’s public opening.
Holiday music echoes throughout the mansion as pianist Molly Kiser plays for audience members, including 3-year-old Dobbs Ferry resident Aliza Regenstreich, who is in town visiting her grandparents.
Highview Avenue resident Lina Garcia holds a wooden Santa mask up to her face as she and her 2-year-old daughter Rachel get ready to color them in the community center’s arts and crafts room.
