Ready to dance with elegance
January 31, 2019 at 7:30 a.m.
Ridge Street Elementary School first-graders Hiroyoshi Wada and Isabelle Hamladji Ambrosio’s hands embrace as they gracefully dance to “Winter Wonderland” during the annual first-grade Snowball on Friday, Jan. 18.
With blatant sophistication, Samantha Biderman and Lucas Shalette make their debut in a walk around the gymnasium to the “Nutcracker Suite.”
Pretty in pink Aria Desai has two dapper gentlemen to escort her around the gym: Cooper Fishkind (left) and Hayden Cullagh.
With big puppy dog eyes, Peter Ayala looks at his parents and spells an “O” with his arms while all the first-graders sing “L-O-V-E” by Nat King Cole.
Dressed like a princess, Lela Samchalk gives her Prince Charming, otherwise known as her father Ross, a kiss on the cheek.
With her tiara and extravagant navy blue gown, Rachel Gordon looks like royalty as she dances with her dad, James.
Rob Striar picks up his daughter Hayley so they can dance face to face to the song “Unforgettable.”
Layla Brown lovingly sings “I Am Your Child” to her parents with the rest of the first-grade classes.
Third-grader Maggie Miao gets the Snowball festivities started with a boisterous delivery of the National Anthem.
Kalani Lee’s grey fluffy dress swooshes as Benjamin Yoffee twirls her while dancing to “Winter Wonderland.”
Aiden Faruque gets funky in his blue suit, bowtie and top hat as he does the twist.
Jaxson and his dad Bryan Landry enthusiastically do the twist together.
Looking chic in her pastel multicolor tutu, Nino Rizzo gracefully cha-chas during the “Cha-Cha Slide.”
During the grand finale of singing “Frosty the Snowman,” Aria Desai gleefully tosses glitter in the air.
