October 31, 2019 at 6:17 a.m.
Ridge Street School fifth-grader Holly O’Neill, 9, dips her paintbrush in black paint to add more detail to her haunted house scene. O’Neill was one of about 60 children who painted windows in a Halloween theme around the Rye Ridge Shopping Center on Saturday, Oct. 26.
West Glen Avenue resident Giada Lio, 1, stands in front of her signed pumpkin masterpiece, which her mother Sara Morabito helped create.
Ridge Street School first-graders Shyla Schroeder (left) and Ella Pohlman stand in front of their spooky works of art at Rye Ridge Shopping Center.
King Street School first-grader Lucas Molleturo, 7, writes “Boo” above the ghost he painted to make it extra scary.
A group of 8-year-olds pose in front of their spooky window paintings. From the left: Red Roof Drive resident Mia Vickers, West Ridge Drive resident Aerin Tauber, Paddock Road resident Hayden Candee, Horseshoe Lane resident Hayden Sassower, Latonia Road resident Brooke Vinikoor, and Dorchester Drive resident Hannah Levitan.
