October 31, 2019 at 6:12 a.m.
Ridge Street School first-grader Siena Escott focuses on designing a spooky face on her miniature pumpkin at Blind Brook PTA’s annual Fall Fest on Saturday, Oct. 26. The Ridge Street School front parking lots were closed off to house food trucks, makeup artists, pumpkin decorating stations and other activities for families.
White Plains resident Clara Renz, 4, stamps a puzzle piece with pink paint. The piece was added to a large collaborative puzzle created by others.
While holding up the pumpkin she decorated, Blind Brook Middle School sixth-grader Mina Jadali poses for a photo.
After successfully kicking and sticking a felt soccer ball on the giant target, Blind Brook Middle School sixth-grader Ziad Attia, 11, sends another one flying in the Ridge Street School parking lot.
Fall Fest volunteer Edris Park, a Bonwit Road resident, rolls pink cotton candy onto a stick for a lucky child.
Cirque du Jour performer Tanya Turgeon stands on stilts as a giant scarecrow and poses with Ridge Street students Lizzie Odisharia (left), Sozari Odisharia and Nicholas Bouadze.
Ridge Street School third-grader Louisa Amestoy, 8, looks on as glitter dolphins are painted on her forearm. Keeping with the theme of Halloween, hairstylists and glitter tattoo artists like Perla Chen of Silly Cheeks face painting company (right) were hired for the festival to help children get dressed up.
Batter up! Ridge Street School fourth-grader Andy Montvelisky, 10, gets ready to swing at the air propelled ball.
