April 2, 2020 at 10:49 a.m.
Victoria DeAndrea, of 429 Ellendale Ave., was one of many Port Chester residents who lit up their houses the night of Wednesday, Apr. 1 to thank first responders and medical workers who are on the frontlines of the COVID-19 pandemic. Candy the Westie puppy thanks them, too! For more photos, turn to page 16. Courtesy of Victoria DeAndrea
HOPE lights up the front of 271 King St. on Wednesday, Apr. 1. Many Port Chester residents showed their appreciation for medical workers and first responders by placing candles and bright lights on their front porches.
Candles line the stairs of 481 Westchester Ave.
A single candle rests on the front porch of 62 Wesley Ave.
